Data & Methodology
Open analyses on photovoltaics and the energy transition in Switzerland – official registers, our own field data and regional solar reports, each with primary source, date and licence note.
How we work
Every figure on the pages in this series is linked to its primary source – usually a register or publication from the federal government, the cantons or recognised industry associations. Where possible, we cross-check two independent sources; we disclose contradictions between sources instead of quietly smoothing them over.
Values that come from ecoEn's own projects are always labelled as such – as an empirical value from a specific number of installations, not as official statistics. Every page carries a visible date; for values that change frequently (such as feed-in tariffs), we re-check against the original source before every update.
Licence & citation
Unless otherwise stated, the data analyses linked on this page are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0). They may be quoted, processed further and included in your own publications – with attribution.
This overview page and ecoEn's general offer and advertising pages are excluded from this licence.
