What does a heat pump cost?
The system type determines the price: air-to-water is the most common and cheaper system in single-family homes; the ground probe is more efficient but significantly more expensive because of the drilling.

Incentives are deducted from the gross costs: when replacing a fossil heating system, the canton and sometimes municipalities pay contributions – several thousand francs depending on the situation. What's left after incentives? Net investment by canton
The cantonal base incentive is deducted from the gross price. The following overview shows the net investment for the six cantons where we have checked the current incentive programmes against the original documents – in each case the gross price minus the fixed incentive for a single-family home, excluding any output-based supplements.
