How is your solar electricity remunerated in Dietikon?
In Dietikon, EKZ is your grid operator. Since the new Electricity Act, they remunerate the fed-in solar electricity according to the federal quarterly averaged reference market price. The remuneration is protected at the lower end: for systems up to 30 kW, the minimum remuneration of 6.0 Rp./kWh applies (6.2 Rp. up to 150 kW without self-consumption).
With the guarantee of origin (GO), it is worth becoming active: if you transfer it to EKZ, they remunerate it with up to an additional 3.0 Rp./kWh. This does not happen automatically – registration with Pronovo and the transfer are part of the commissioning. Managing expectations: the reference market price was around 3.9 Rp./kWh in the second quarter of 2026, i.e. below the minimum remuneration – currently the 6 Rappen apply. What incentives do you get in Dietikon?
The basis is the federal government: the one-off feed-in incentive (EIV) via Pronovo, around CHF 360 per kW for attached, CHF 400 per kW for in-roof systems (under 30 kW). For a 10 kW system, that is a good CHF 3,600.
In addition, there is the tax deduction: investments in existing buildings are deductible from state and federal taxes. There is no cantonal direct PV incentive in the Canton of Zurich.
