What incentives do you receive in Fällanden?
The basis is the federal government with the one-off feed-in incentive (EIV): around CHF 360 per kW for added-on systems, CHF 400 per kW for roof-integrated systems (under 30 kW), for a 10 kW system therefore a good CHF 3,600. Apartment building & condominium ownership: Self-consumption or feed everything in?
Around the Greifensee and in the village centre of Fällanden there are many apartment buildings and developments in condominium ownership. A question arises there that hardly plays a role for a single-family home: Should the solar electricity be consumed in the building or fed completely into the grid?
In most cases, self-consumption is more profitable – every kilowatt hour used yourself is worth more than every kilowatt hour fed in, because it saves the full purchase tariff. With several parties, this is organised via a self-consumption community (ZEV). However, there are constellations in which full grid feed-in is deliberately chosen – for example, if there is little consumption in the building during the day or the billing among the owners should remain lean. The electricity deliberately remains in the building: Self-consumption via a ZEV, in addition self-consumption optimisation and the charging infrastructure for e-mobility with load profile management, so that the cars charge when the sun delivers and the house connection allows it. This is exactly where it becomes apparent why the operational question comes before the technical question for a STWEG – we calculate it through before every quote, instead of anticipating it.
