How is your solar electricity remunerated in Zollikon?
Via Werke am Zürichsee, which also supply Küsnacht and Erlenbach. Since the new Electricity Act, the Swiss-wide market price model applies: the federal quarterly averaged reference market price is remunerated. This fluctuates strongly and is currently low – at around 3.90 Rp./kWh in the second quarter of 2026. What incentives do you receive in Zollikon?

What moves the price are roof pitch and mounting type, the number of modules, a possible battery as well as additional work such as scaffolding or lightning protection – on steep, exposed Zollikon roofs, the latter comes into play more often.
Zollikon: Steep roofs, townscape and dealing with reflections
Zollikon stretches from the lake shore up the hillside to Zollikerberg. Two peculiarities characterise the roofs here: comparatively steep pitches on the hillsides and a watchful eye of the neighbourhood and the authority on the townscape – especially in highly visible locations with a lake view.
